I've been travelling for work since sunday, round two of some regional visits I've been doing. This morning is the first time I've seen the sun since sunday. The complete shock of opening the curtains, expecting grey rain and seing a piercing blue sky, a warm sun and the ocean spread out before me. quite amazing.

I'm staying at the cheapest place I could find in batemans bay and would actually answer the phone. a many room, 2 bedroom cabin with free wireless internet, the nicest ammenities I've found in my travels and looking straight onto the beach. and a 5 hour break in the middle of my day to enjoy it (and do some work... but hey I worked sunday). I even had solid sleep last night!!! amazing

some thoughts in my travels )

So many things to write about so little time. Find out about a nifty job on Wednesday (fingers crossed), I have a nightmarishly large amount of work at work to do that makes me not want to do any. Plus writing projects, plus roleplaying game, plus the fisher house packing up which contains more complexity than you'd think, plus surgery to do more paperwork and running around for (including getting my credit card limit raised for ease of transaction and registering for Medicare Safety net). Plus all the lazing around that I do and is important to make time for :), a wedding to plan, a bunny to breed a garden to attend to and there are martini glasses still on the table from kareoke on the weekend.

Life is pretty nifty on the whole, a wart on my thumb that has been bugging me for years and years is finally being gobbled up by my immune system due, I think to one of the the following or a combination.

1) making employment decisions (although I've done that before with no wart falling off)
2) getting an artist for Songs of Innocence and career stuff starting to get teeeeeeeny tiny legs
3) Getting the flu and taking echinacea tincture for a few weeks

After a gap away from LJ I wandered through pages of archives to write more copiously than I intended. here are the links and I have also put them behind the cut, I think they're kinda interesting, on the nature of writing. http://laochbran.livejournal.com/220529.html?view=978033#t978033 http://community.livejournal.com/aus_gamers/49095.html?view=236999#t236999
