Manga Liz
I still love you, I just haven't had time to write things to the proper thingeyness that LJ requires. I read you sporadically when I have time but things have been pretty crazy what with moving to a new country, having a paying gig with a tough deadline, judging 24 hours comic challenge (it would feel wrong not to) and trying to position myself and build my freelanceryness when I'm generally just a nice odd chick who does STUFF with passion and that's a slightly incoherant brand.

I have just put a new post on my website, final one for the Emerging Writers Festival http://lizargall.com/ and there are snippets on my twitter http://twitter.com/lizargall

Love

L

glad to read that you are doing well, Liz, and that you have already found a paying gig and a most apt one too! :D

and am sure that your freelancing stuff will definitely pick up once you get more established.

especially since you have lots of cons and such within driving distance and more than a few established webcomic and comic people in your area who would be more than happy to receive help from someone of your talents and enthusiasisms. ^_^

Heya, things are going good. wibble hasn't started the proper job hunting yet, still just settling in, setting ourselves up and figuring out how the city works :)

The job hunting sorta began last night at the party.

I a few people of interest, and even handed out my business card a couple of times.

Our time has been oh so busy just setting up. Once I've been abandoned, I'll begin the jobhunting in earnest.

Hi there. I seem to remember mentioning this to you a little while ago, but things were probably very busy at the time. Anyway, I am going to the Worldcon in Montreal at the beginning of AUgust. Details here;

If you liked Conflux, well then this is the bigger and more spectacular version, as well as the GOHs there will be dozens (if not hundreds) of other authors around doing events, workshops, etc. From Seattle hopefully it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for you, and I have some accomodation which I could share quite cheaply. Cheers, A.
